Campaign has ended

Hi Everyone,

As you all know I am a junior in the Theatre Department at The Duke Ellington School of the Arts. This is my third year joining the March for the Arts fundraiser, and I am so grateful for everyone who has always helped and supported me. This year is my junior and one of my most important years of high school. Finding Colleges to look at, majors, preparing for my SAT's, keeping my grades up, all while trying to figure myself out, my future, and still be a kid. This fundraiser means a lot because it helps pay and support for my wonderful arts teachers here at Duke, opportunities that could help launch me into the arts industry, and my arts fees. I would love for you all to support me. Any amount at all is appreciated, accepted, encouraged and loved. Thank you family!

March for the Arts, is the

Support Us!

In the Theatre Department, students aren't just taught how to act. They are taught how to create the stories they want to see. They are given the tools to shape the world around them with their art. Ellington relies on the generosity of parents and donors to ensure that our students receive the highest level of pre-professional training and performance opportunities. Donations enable them to create sets, craft costumes, power technical capabilities, hire additional instructors, and fund classes with Master Acting Teachers like the renowned Professor Vera Katz.

Celebrate With Us!

Once upon a time there was an enchanted land full of magical spells, beautiful maidens, and true love where everyone lived happily ever after. Or did they??? Take a magical tour through the enchanted forests of Georgetown and learn what really happened to Rapunzel, Jasmine, Hansel and Gretel and other misrepresented characters during an interactive live show. After the performance, get more of the real scoop while you fly high on the moon bounces with Aladdin, play croquet with Alice, eat homemade treats with Tiana, and dance like the clock will never strike 12 with Cinderella! Enchanted showtimes are at 10:30 and 12. Dress as your favorite misrepresented fairytale character for a special gift from the Prince!
